Here's the situation: I have had my Si for almost 4 years, 48,000 miles, and live in Connecticut. Ever since I've had my car, when it is ice cold in the morning (and whenever else the engine is ice cold), my car bucks, studders, and surges with the RPMs. I know how to drive standard, so I'm not stalling out, but it almost seems like it.
This is my first post, and I would like to share with you what I consider a money-saver for a problem I had which I feared would have cost me much more. In short, my problem was an automatic transmission shudder when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, and the solution was simply to change the ATF. Period. Read on for a more details. i have Honda accord 2013 EX-L 4 cylinder i turn it on and i drive it with no problem to supermarket after half hour i back to my car when i switched on i see the RPM goes up about 1500 , 2000 rpm and then goes down and it's turn off in less than 1 second. i check it with OBD2 which give me this code p2101 " Throttle Actuator System Malfunction

It is a black on black 4 door 2008 Accord EX-L / 4 cylinder / 5 speed. I have noticed two things with the transmission: 1. I hear a sound like a light clunk under my driver's seat when shifting from second into first. This only seems to happen when I have been in at least 3rd gear.

The original part number was 14310-R44-A01 and the replacement (as of some time in March of 2016) is 14310-R5A-305. There is a Honda Service Bulletin that details the repair, and a link has been posted below to the most current version at the time I posted this, which is March 17, 2016. Three weeks later one of the tensioner assembly bolts sheared off at the engine block rendering the car with inop alt/ps. Took the car to Honda and they replaced the tensioner (alt/ps) assembly and used new bolts. Two months later the bolt sheared again. Took the car back to Honda who fixed it for free with new assembly and new bolts.
