I have a 57 plate 2.0tdci zetec and its always done this intermittently although behaved perfectly when taken back to the dealers I bought it from. On my insistence they did replace the battery but to no avail. Interestingly on a cold morning last week it took several attempts to start, not the usual 2.
I would like to consult you about my car, Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 2010 year, due to the reason that it doesnβt work normal after regular service made in the authorized Ford service. Regular service is made at 120.000 km. for a changing of ribbed, wedge belt, oil and all filters.
Mk 4.5 2.0 163 tdci problems. Just bought a 2012 plate tit x, seems to have a few electrical gremlins. The heated front screen only half of it works literally draw a line down the center, fuse or wire maybe? Also car went into limp mode this morning, lost power acceleration on motorway, came off and switched car off, turned back on, now warning.
I just bought a Mondeo Mk5 Estate 150 BHP TDCI and have the very same problem. Until I use the car in the city (Budapest Hungary) no matter how I drive it there is no problem. However, on the highway I get the wrench on the display and computer says "See manual". The motor control goes to service mode, no further acceleration just very slightly
Hello BOF, My original post should have said it was ok on cold start. My mistake. The problem only occurs on warm/hot starts. Fuel consumption is excellent 54mpg actual from my motorway commute.
Iv got the same issue with my Mondeo edge 1.8 tdci, looses cabin heat and looses water, which results in engine overheating, iv had it to the garage up to now spent Β£600 it's had timing belt, wet belt, and water pump change, water header tank change, then had new thermostat and hose, and yet it's still doing this, any advice would be greatly
First of all, I have to mention that I am a new user on this forum. If I have posted in the wrong section, please let me know and I will move the topic. I have recently acquired an 2005 Mondeo, 2.0 TDCi 130hp and I have the following problem: When I first start it during the day (doesn't matter if it's cold or warm outside, the problem always
