Effaclar K has 1.5% Salicyclic Acid. I've used both and I found them both quite mild. I'm actually moving onto the Avene Cleanance K that you're using, and onto a Paula's Choice 2% Salicylic Acid once I'm finished with the Duo. It's helped clear my active acne but hasn't done much for the closed comedones or sebaceous filaments.
